The world is on the brink of major upheavals. The Russian-Ukraine war continued without abatement. The Hamas launched an attack on the Israelis and the Israelis went mad like a hornet's nest being hit, unleashing their anger without any consideration for more losses of innocent lives on top of their own. World economy is uncontrollable with companies citing various reasons in increasing their price upward of 30%.
Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) - three closely linked values currently promoted by many top organisations but to what end if the above said matters showed that the provided leadership and management do not seem to care for the societies at large. Business people turned deaf ears and preferred to just concentrate on their own two feet, walking and not stapling their moral, respect and dignity for other human beings who are suffering in light of all these major events.
The obstacles seemed to be great but this is the opportunity that DEI should show by working closely amongst the large NGOs and the nascent big to gargantuan organisations together with the almost voiceless United Nations. To restore order and peace. To move in solidarity for the accomplishment of human beings for a better life tomorrow.
Man, woman, of colours and different religion / no religion etc. should rally up their representatives to unite as one, and break the monopoly of the few. Spread the good amongst those who cannot defend themselves or lack the ability to do so. Much money, sweat, blood and tears had been spent, it is time to call enough is enough.
Russia-Ukraine
Russia should stop bullying its neighbours. The UN and not NATO should take the task to soundly rapping their fingers. Quit fighting or leave the veto countries. New world order.
Israel, Palestine vs. Hamas, Hezbollah
The conflict has been on for centuries over who's right and who's wrong. It probably started 30,000 years ago when a goatherd threw a stone playfully at his friend, a shepherd but caused him to bleed. Israel and Palestine brothers and sisters have to come together with help from the DEI communities and the UN, to defang the Hamas and Hezbollah, that made use of the excuse that the land belongs to whom. Live in the present and future, not in the past.
World economy is at its lowest
Hyperinflation- , job losses and new billionaires, the distribution of wealth is so uneven, that one hardly can breathe. The cost management is going to be so irrational that no one can stop escalating future crimes from being committed because no one can afford milk powders anymore. Those in large organisations should push their bosses to walk the talk on DEI matters. Yes, there are other pressing issues like Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG). Seek collaborations, end dominance and change strategies to find new ways to elevate depressing conditions within the organisation and outside of them. Restructure and reward. End the battle between men and women on Board, ensure there are even allocations and appointments by merit.
New Conflict Resolution
If the world at war is committed by men, then have women to lead in Russia, Israel, Hamas and the US. Let there be shining peace, forever and ever. It may not solve future conflicts but it's a whole new change, perhaps for the better.
