My Early Christmas Present

My Christmas present for myself has arrived on time. It is a book on Mergers and Acquisitions.

I am cutting down the reliance on my partners for answers which I can learn myself. Not the expert levels but at least the basic ones that my management consultants and I can lend some information to the market if there are inquiries.

Some readings had been very tough chew, dry as some cookies. I did soldier on but at the end of the day, I just give it to the experts to do their jobs and I will just be a bystander.

According to Jack Ma,

If you are 20 to 30 years old, please find a good boss, not necessarily a good company. Learn from the boss. Learn how to do it.

When you are 30 to 40 years old, try to do something yourself. If you really want to try it.

When you are 40 to 50 years old, do things that you are good at. After 20 years of learning, you should do something that you are good at. When you are 50 to 60 years old. Spend time supporting young people. When you are over 60 years old. Spend time with your grandchildren. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/erasmuskoay_find-a-good-boss-not-necessarily-a-good-activity-7130131905655574528-tpAH?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

I am said to be quite a good connector of people and a strategic mind. And I am still young at heart, so I will keep learning. Hope to hear from you, let's chat and collaborate.
