2025 The Year of Legacy.
This coming year, I will be launching a new company. It will be the Mother of All companies with me holding majority of the stakes and the remainder by subscribed shareholders and loyal dependents who had been with us since the beginning.
Our Mission has not changed, our 25-year-old Vision – “To be a global management consultancy firm” has been replaced. Our Vision now is:
Help Our Client to Build a Strong, Improving and Lasting Legacy.
If you have read through my contributions, you would know that I talked much about strategies, leadership and management. More so, legacy. What interest me is the continuation of successes, be it Manchester United, a 2,000-year old hotel industry, Nokia and others. Which is the common theme in what I had drafted my book and presented at the Intel University to predict successes, failures and what to do next.
So far, none of my people had offered up a real solid written answer (say 20,000 words long) should a founder (of a strategy or a Kung-fu style) gives away 100% of his/her secrets to the inheritors or he/she should retain some, just in case.
Now, I run a retirement home as well (which I am selling for USD 1 million, if you are interested), so you hear all sorts of things when it comes to “Legacy”. Will I get taken care of when I will over to my children or will I end up on the street?
Another basic problem is whether I subscribe to a new, upgraded platform or a website portal, I will lose something. Today, it is my address book, tomorrow it is my calendaring system. And its global, meaning, it affects not just me alone but each and everyone of my management consultants who depend on the systems to function as they should. SNAFU. If someone was to ask me, is there gold to pick up from the street in any part of the world? The answer is yes, if you go on solving problems that you see. Like pollution, inequality, wars and so on.
On success, consider this in every year of our 25 years in doing business, we have small recorded successes (feel free to ask us). The defining moment for me is October 2023. By June 2024, we were already working with 2 of the Big 6 accounting firms and so on. Therefore, success does not come easy and early. It is when you start to build legacies.
You are taking it from a guy who works his ass off and owns 2 enterprises, 1 private limited company, former General Manager of an IT Finnish Group and manages his family business.
