Legacy Modelling: Framework - SISTM

Nowadays, it is a bit dangerous to put your first thought into an AI machine or bots as it can be replicated and used by others.

Here I would like to provide the 2nd trilogy that is made up of:

Legacy Modelling: Building a Generational Success

Roadmap to Success: Gateway to Success

Roadmap to Success: Highway to Success

This part of the legacy modelling can work well for larger companies and/or bigger organisations, including Government agencies. It is still applicable for SMEs only harder due to resource challenges.

Legacy modelling does not mean it has to be familial generational businesses or enterprises. It can apply to Government agencies or NGOs that had been organised and led over a period of time. Some associations are over hundreds of years old like temple associations.

For example, the Lung Kong Tin Yee Association (also known as the Four Families Association representing the Liu, Guan, Zhang, and Zhao clans) traces its spiritual and historical roots to the Lung Kong Ancient Temple, which the original temple was built in 1662 in Shuikou district, Kaiping, Guangdong, China to honor the legendary four-brother sworn alliance from the Han dynasty (Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Zhao Yun). (although I only remembered 3 sworn brothers  (桃园三结义) in a peach tree orchard behind Zhang Fei's estate in Zhuozhou from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms).

Let us begin with Legacy Modelling: Building a Generational Success.

It has 3 materialisations to look out for:

1.       Framework

2.       Guidelines

3.       Mandates

The organisation needs to run on a framework, much like a computer that is non-Apple needs to run on Windows 11 and most phones runs on androids. What is your framework and what makes your framework special.

For this, I coined the acronym SISTM (pronounced as System).

1.       Structure

2.       Improvements

3.       Systems

4.       Training

5.       Marketing

I will expand the concept as I go at later stage but for now, here is the summary.

Structure: Like any house, you need a foundation. Or building a sanctuary in Fallout 4, you need a good base. This forms your structure.

Improvements: You must always look for opportunities to improve. Get a third party involved, don’t just rely on your own gut feelings. Get oriented with facts.

Systems: Have a management system that encompasses all important.

Training: Any structured organisations, needs to be trained by subject matter experts. This helps with the improvements that betters the systems.

Marketing: Without growth and development, an organisation is set to die and die fast. To market oneself is very important and how to do it, is even important.

I will leave SISTM as it is for now.
